This project, Pace, was inspired by observing the real-life challenges faced by individuals with Parkinson’s disease and the limitations of existing treatments. It explores how wearable assistive technology can provide practical support in daily life. By combining visual and vibration cues in a shoe-based design, the project aims to help users overcome freezing episodes, improve walking control, and enhance confidence and independence.
